Poems

From Ground To Sky

Myriad of thoughts roaming like the countless stars

Twinkling, dim and bright, free or behind the bars

Lost in their sparkle, like fireflies in the grass

Struggling to shine, like gold or at least brass

Making it to the zenith, after continuous breaks

Now enjoying it like the foreplay and the sex

It took donkey’s years to come this far

Each day was tough like a real world war

From novice to connoisseur, from ground to sky

Hell yeah, it’s possible and you can fly
